An era is coming to an end. Kingfisher Island, the beautiful homestead sim I called my home in SL during the last two years, is going down today as my landlord is giving up his estate property. It’s amazing how attached you can get to a virtual place. I loved the time I had there.
Just now, I took my last walk around to see if there are any items left to pick up. It doesn’t look quite as bare now as it did right in the beginning, as I left all the copiable trees and plants out, but it does look quite disheveled now, compared to what it has been.
As a way of saying goodbye, I’ve decided to try my hand at machinima-making and created a little memorial movie. Watch and enjoy!

I meant to comment on this soooooo long ago, Dylan this is so beautiful, and I am sorry you lost that island. Kevin and I are glad we were there to wave it goodbye, brought back memories of being neighbours
